This Privacy Policy is designed to explain how we collect, use, share, and protect the personal information you provide to us when you access our Site, Application, or Services or engage with us on social media, as well as your own rights to the information we collect.

Please read this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) carefully. We will alert you to any changes to this Policy by changing the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy. Any changes become effective immediately upon publication on Our Site or Application, and you waive specific notice of any changes to the Policy by continuing to use and access the Site or Application. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically, when you use our Site, Application, or Services for any purpose or engage with us through any of the foregoing, on social media, or elsewhere. You are deemed to have accepted any changes to any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of our Site, Application, or Services after the revised Privacy Policy is posted.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect a variety of information from you when you visit our Site or Application or interact with us online, including on social media. By accepting this Privacy Policy, you are specifically consenting to our collection of the data described below, to our use of that data, to the processing of that data, and to our sharing of that data with third-party processors as needed for our legitimate business interests. The information we collect may include:

Personal Data is information that can be used to identify You specifically, including, without limitation, your name, your physical address, your shipping address, your email address, your telephone number, your interest data (e.g. hobbies, lifestyle, and interests), your demographic information (e.g. age, gender, hometown), and your contacts. You consent to giving us this information by providing it to us voluntarily through our Site, Application, or Services. You provide some of this information when you register with our Site or Application. You may also provide this information by participating in various activities associated with our site, including responding to blogs or commentary, engaging with us via social media, contacting us with questions, or participating in community interactions. Your decision to disclose this data is entirely voluntary. You are under no obligation to provide this information, but your refusal may prevent you from accessing certain benefits of, and parts of, our Site, Application, and Services.

3. INFORMATION NEEDED TO USE THE ONEROOF APPLICATION
You agree that to register for, and maintain an account on, you must provide and maintain up-to-date contact, account, and profile information, including your first name, last name, phone number, complete permanent residence address, email address, date of birth, and profile photo, some of which will depend on the features you use, and some of which will be visible to other OneRoof users in the Application in the OneRoof Communities to which you belong. By providing us with any of the foregoing information, you agree that we may store, retain, and use that information to contact you for our legitimate business interests.

4. INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO GIVE US
You can choose to provide us with additional personal information, which may include: Photos, an “About Me” description, a “Break the ice” prompt, your personal interests, services that you may offer to other members of the OneRoof Communities to which you belong, your social media handles, the specific floor you live on in your building, your move in date, the country you are from, your relationship status, whether you have children, whether you have pets, your drinking preferences, your exercise habits, whether you use cannabis, your faith, your job role, the company you work for, where you went to school, and specific details regarding the foregoing. Some of this information may be publicly visible to other users in the OneRoof Communities to which you belong. By providing us with any of the foregoing information, you agree that we may store, retain, and use that information to contact you for our legitimate business interests.

5. AUTOMATICALLY-COLLECTED DERIVATIVE DATA
Derivative data (“Derivative Data”) is information that our servers may automatically collect about you when you access our Site or Application, such as:

5.1 Geolocation Information. Such as precise or approximate location determined from your IP address, mobile or other device’s GPS, or other information you share with us, depending on your device settings. We may also collect this information when you’re not using the app if you enable this through your settings or device permissions.
5.2 Usage Information.
Such as the pages or content you view, and other actions on the OneRoof Application.
5.3 Log Data and Device Information.
Such as details about how you’ve used the OneRoof Application (including if you clicked on links to third-party applications), IP address, access dates and times, account creation and closure dates, hardware and software information, device information, device event information, unique identifiers, crash data, and the pages you’ve viewed or engaged with before or after using the Site, Application, or Services. We may collect this information even if you haven’t created a OneRoof account or logged in.
5.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies.
As described below.

In addition to the foregoing, we may collect the following types of Derivative Data: Your IP address, browser type, the dates and times that you access our Site or Application, and the specific pages you view. If you are using our Application, our servers may collect information about your device name and type, your phone number, your country of origin, and other interactions with our Application. Derivative Data may also include data collected by third-party service providers, such as advertising and analytics providers, and may include, without limitation, cookies, log data, or web beacons. Cookies are discussed more fully below. Derivative data collected by third-party service providers generally does not identify a specific individual.

6. SOCIAL NETWORKING DATA
We may access personal information from social networking sites and apps, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, Snapchat, or other social networking sites or apps not named specifically here. Such information may include, without limitation, your name, your social network username, location, email address, age, gender, profile picture, and any other public information. If you do not want us to access this information, please go to the specific social networking site and change your privacy settings.

7. MOBILE DEVICE DATA
If you use our Site, Application, or Services via a mobile device or app, we may collect information about your mobile device, including device ID, model, manufacturer, and location information.

8. OTHER DATA
On occasion, you may give us additional data, including, without limitation, to enter into a contest, giveaway, to participate in an online or offline event, to provide responsive information to a questionnaire, survey, or similar (collectively “Events”), or to access additional features or services within the Site, Application, or Services. In such case, you will be prompted for such additional data or information, so that your provision of such data or information to us will be knowing and voluntary in exchange for the ability to engage with, receive, or participate as contemplated hereunder.

9. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
Your information allows us to offer you an enhanced experience of the Site, Application, and Services. We generally store your data and may transmit it to one or more third-parties for processing. To the extent that we process your data, we do so to serve our legitimate business interests, including, without limitation, the opportunity for you to interact with our Site, Application, or Services.

Specifically, and by way of example but not limitation, we may use the information and data described above for:
9.1 Creation and administration of your account;
9.2 Corresponding or communicating with you;
9.3 Displaying your usage information to other users or outside parties;
9.4 Enabling you to access the OneRoof Site, Application, or Services;
9.5 Enabling you to communicate with other OneRoof users or with OneRoof;
9.6 Performing analytics, debugging, and conduct research;
9.7 Providing customer service training;
9.8 Sending you messages, updates, security alerts, and account notifications;
9.9 Personalizing and customizing your experience based on your interactions with our Site, Application, or Services;
9.10 Allowing you to see your “friends” or “contacts” on OneRoof, including through your voluntary sharing of your contacts;
9.11 Displaying your usage information to other users or outside parties in an anonymized or aggregated format in which you cannot be reasonably identified as an individual in order to improve the service and provide trends and insights.
9.12 Sending you messages from time to time through the Site or Application to provide you with useful information.

We may use your email address or phone number for marketing, non-marketing, or administrative purposes, including, without limitation, notifying you of requirements or events related to your account, major Site or Application changes, or other customer service purposes.

When you use the Site or Application, our servers may automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a Site or Application ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your IP address, location based on IP address, browser type, or the domain from which you are visiting, the web-pages you visit, the search terms you use, and any advertisements on which you click. For many users accessing the Internet from an Internet service provider, the IP address will be different every time you log on. We may use Log Data to monitor the use of the Service and for the Site or Application’s technical administration. We typically do not associate your IP address with any other personally identifiable information to identify you personally, except in the case of account creation or closure or investigations or violations of our Terms of Service.

We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us, including, without limitation, hosting and maintenance, customer relationship, database storage and management, and direct marketing campaigns. We will share your personally identifiable information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services.

10. GROUNDS FOR USING AND PROCESSING YOUR DATA
Information we collect and store may be used by us to allow us to automate a personalized interaction with our Site, Application, and Services. In addition, without limitation, we may collect, use, and process your information for the following purposes:

10.1 Legitimate Business Interests. We may use and process your data for our legitimate business interests, which include, among other things, communicating with you, process requests for new features, for improving our Site and Application, and for providing you with information or features that you have requested.
10.2 Performance of a Contract.
We may use and process your information to enter into a contract with you and to perform our contractual obligations to you.
10.3 Consent.
We may use your data or permit selected third parties to use your data, based on your consent to our use and sharing of that data. You may withdraw your consent at any time, but doing so may affect your ability to use our Site, Application, Services, or other services.
10.4 As Required by Law.
We may use or process your data as required for us to comply with legal obligations, including, without limitation, to respond to law enforcement inquiries, legal process, subpoenas, or court orders.

11. WHY WE DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION.
We may share Your information with third parties in certain situations. We may share Your data with third-party processors as needed to serve our legitimate business interests, which include, inter alia, administration of our Site, Application, and Services, administration of your account, entering into contracts with you, communicating with you, identifying trends, protecting the security of our company, Site, Application, and Services, and marketing additional goods and services to you. The legal basis for our disclosure of your data is both your consent to this Privacy Policy and our own right to protect and promote our legitimate business interests.  

The following are additional specific reasons why we may share your information:
11.1 Third Party Processing. We may disclose Your information to third parties who assist us with various tasks, including, inter alia, payment processing, hosting services, email delivery, communications, and customer service. We may not always disclose these third-party processors if not required by law. We do not authorize them to use or disclose your personal information except in connection with providing our company with their services.
11.2 By Law. We may share your data as required by law or to respond to legal process, including subpoenas, or as necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of others. This includes sharing information with other parties to prevent or address fraud and to avoid credit risks.
11.3 To Protect Our Company. We may use your information to protect our company, including to investigate and remedy any violations of Our rights or policies. We may also disclose Your information as reasonably necessary to acquire and maintain insurance coverage, manage risks, obtain financial or legal advice, or to exercise or defend against legal claims.
11.4 Business Transfers. In the event our company engages in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy proceedings, dissolution, reorganization, or similar transaction or proceeding, we may transfer or share your data as part of that proceeding. In such transitions, customer information is one of the business assets that may be acquired by, and assigned to, a third party. You acknowledge that such business transfers may occur and that your personal information can continue to be stored, used, or processed as otherwise set forth in this privacy policy.
11.5 Third-Party Marketing. We may disclose your information to certain third parties, including our affiliates, partners, and marketing partners, to enable them to contact you, so they can offer you relevant goods or services, or in furtherance of our legitimate business interests.
11.6 Advertisers. We may use third-party advertising companies to run and manage ads, such as Southern Sass Group, LLC DBA System Envy on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest to produce ads that appear when you visit our Site or Application. These companies may use information about your visit to our Site or Application and other sites or applications that are contained in web cookies (as described below) to offer you personalized advertisements about goods and services that might interest you. We cannot control the activities of such other advertisers or web sites. You should consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party advertisers for more detailed information on their practices as well as for instructions about how to opt-out of certain practices. Please note that, at this time, we do not recognize automated browser signals regarding tracking systems, which may include “do not track” instructions.
11.7 Other Third Parties. We may share information with advertisers, our investors, or other third parties for the purpose of conducting general business analysis. If we do so, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you if required by law.
11.8 Interaction With Others. If you interact with others on our Site or Application, such as participating in a group chat or interaction with another user, other users may have access to some of your data, including your name, profile picture, and your history of interaction with our Site or Application, such as prior comments or posts.
11.9 Online Postings. When you post online, your posts may be viewed by others, and we may distribute your comments outside the Site or Application.
11.10 External Links. Our Site, Application, and Services may include hyperlinks to other sites or applications not controlled by us. We suggest you exercise caution when clicking on any hyperlink. Although we use reasonable care in including a hyperlink on our own Site, Application, and Services, we do not regularly monitor the sites or applications of third parties and are not responsible for any damage or consequences you suffer by using these hyperlinks. We are not bound by the Privacy Policies of any third-party site or application that you access by a hyperlink, nor are they bound by ours. We encourage you to read the policies of those third-party sites or applications before interacting with them or making purchases. They may collect different information and by different methods than we do. 
11.11 Other Purposes. We may disclose your personal data as necessary to comply with any legal obligation or to protect your interests, the vital interests of others, or our legitimate business interests.

12. TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
12.1 Log Files. Like many other sites or applications, we make use of log files. These files merely log visitors to the site, a standard procedure for hosting companies and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information inside the log files may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the Site, track user movement around the Site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses and other such information are typically not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
12.2 Cookies. We may use cookies - small text files sent to us by your computer - and web beacons to store certain information. We may use cookies to authenticate your identity, to determine if you are logged onto our Site or Application, for personalization, for security, for targeted advertising, or for analysis of the performance of our Site, Application, and Services. For example, cookies allow us to recommend blog posts to you based on what you have read on our site in the past. We use cookies that are not specific to your account but unique enough to allow us to analyze general trends and use, and to customize your interaction with Our Site or Application. This information helps Us to understand the use of Our site and to improve Our Site or Application and service Site or Applications.
12.2.1 We may use any or all of the following types of cookies:
12.2.1.1 Essential Cookies
: These cookies help Us run Our Site or Application and improve your experience with Our Site or Application. These cookies may allow content to load more quickly or allow you to access “members only” or repeat-users sections of Our Site or Application.
12.2.1.2. Functionality Cookies: These cookies allow Us to remember your preferences from earlier visits to Our Site or Application, including login information, so that you do not have to input the same information multiple times.
12.2.1.3 Social Media Cookies: These cookies allow Us to record when you have engaged with a social media tool while visiting Our Site or Application. For example, We may record that you have “liked” a certain aspect of Our Site or Application. The social media application may also share data with us that you have allowed it to share. If you wish to change your social media sharing settings, please visit the privacy settings of the social media network.
12.2.1.4 Advertising Cookies: We may work with third-party advertising partners who collect information about your browsing habits on Our Site and/or Application in order to later display a relevant ad about Our services when you are on a third-party site such as a social media platform. These cookies may also allow Us to access your location.

When you first encounter the Site or Application, you may be asked to “consent to cookies.” If you wish to disable cookies, you may do so through your individual browser options. However, disabling cookies or rejecting certain cookies may affect your ability to use certain features on the Site or Application. By continuing to use our Site or Application and not disabling cookies on your browser, you are consenting to our use of cookies in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.  

We may use third-party software to post advertisements on our Site or Application, to oversee marketing or email campaigns, or manage other company initiatives. These third-parties may use cookies or similar tracking technology. We have no control over these third parties or their use of cookies. For more information on opting out of interest-based ads, you may visit the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out Tool or Digital Advertising Alliance Opt-Out Tool.

12.3 Pixel Tags: We may use a pixel tag, which is a small graphic file that allows Us to monitor the use of the Site or Application and provide us with information regarding your interactions with the Site or Application. These tags may collect the IP address from the device you are using and your browser type. Pixel tags may also used by our third-party partners to collect information when you use the Site or Application, and we may use this information for our legitimate business interests, including, without limitation, to display targeted advertisements.
12.4 Email Confirmations: We may receive email confirmations when you open an email from us. This allows us to determine if users are responding favorably to our email communications and to improve those communications.  
12.5 Other Technologies: Other data technologies may be used that collect comparable information for security, fraud detection, and similar purposes, to give us information about your use of our Site, Application, or Services, so that we may better improve same.

13. SITE OR APPLICATION ANALYTICS
We may partner with third-parties, including analytics companies. Analytics companies may use cookies (described above) or other tracking technologies to analyze visitors’ use of the Site or Application for various reasons, including, without limitation, to determine the popularity of content and to better understand online activity. In order to access our Site or Application, you must consent to the collection and use of your information by such third-party analytic companies. We may not transfer your personal information to these analytics companies but reserve the right to allow them use of, or access to, same as may be necessary or appropriate as contemplated under this Section. In such case, you should review any such analytics company’s Privacy Policy and contact them directly if you have questions about how your data may be used for analytics purposes as contemplated hereunder. If you do not want any information to be collected and used by tracking technologies, we encourage you to visit the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out Tool or Digital Advertising Alliance Opt-Out Tool.

Google Analytics: You can opt-out of having your activity on Our Site or Application made available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. This add-on prevents Google Analytics from retrieving information about your visits to our Site or Application. 14. PROCESSING YOUR INFORMATION
We may, from time to time, process your data internally. The legal basis for this processing is both your consent to the processing, our need to conduct our legitimate business interests, and to comply with legal obligations. Our purposes in processing this information, if we do, is to administer, maintain, and improve our Site, Application, or Services, to enter into contracts with you, to fulfill the terms of those contracts, to keep records of our transactions and interactions, to be able to provide you with goods or services, to comply with our legal obligations, to obtain professional advice, and to protect the rights and interests of our company, our customers (including you), and any third parties. We may process, without limitation, the following data:

14.2 Usage Data. Data about your usage of our Site and Application, such as your IP address, geographical information, and how long you accessed our Site or Application, and what you viewed or engaged with. In addition, Data that you provide us in the course of using our Site or Application.
14.3 Profile Data. Data related to your personal profile, such as your name, address, profile picture, interests and hobbies, or employment details.
14.4 Account Activity. Your account activity that may be provided to other users of the Site or Application who know your email or by virtue of being shared contacts in the event that contact information has been voluntarily shared with OneRoof.
14.5 Personal Information. Personal information that you chose to add or Personal information that you chose to share via any third party sharing application (each a "Third Party Sharing Application") outside the Site, Application, or Services. You understand, acknowledge, and agree that we have no control over, or ability to retract or delete, any personal information shared through a Third Party Sharing Application, whether shared by you or by another user, and whether or not such sharing is authorized by you.
14.6 Posted Data. Data that you post on the Site or Application.
14.7 Submitted Data. Data that you submit to us when you make an inquiry regarding the Site, Application, or Services.
14.8 Subscription-Based Data. Data that you provide to us when you subscribe to our content, emails, or newsletters, including your email address and contact information.
14.9 Correspondence Data. Data that you submit to us via correspondence, such as when you email us with questions.
14.10 Other. Any other data identified in this policy, for the purpose of complying with our legal obligations, or to protect the vital interests of you or any other natural person.

15. INTERNATIONAL DATA
The OneRoof Site and Application is hosted by servers located in the United States. Accordingly, if you reside outside of the U.S., some of your data will be transferred internationally and stored on those servers. Additionally, we may use third-party processors (including payment processors) and subcontractors located in the U.S. We use commercially reasonable methods to protect the safety of your data during transfer, including hosting our Site and Application on reputable servers and engaging reputable third-party processors. By using the Site or Application and providing us with information, you consent to the transfer to, processing of, and storage of your data in the U.S. Note that the privacy laws in the U.S may not be as strict as those in other countries. Please be aware that:

15.1 We may transfer data that we collect to locations outside of our headquarters for processing or storing, and the data may be processed by us or by third-party processors. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing, and processing. We take commercially reasonable steps to make sure your data is treated securely and in conformity with this Privacy Policy.
15.2 Data that is provided to us is stored on secure servers. In the event that we collect payment information, that information and other sensitive data will be encrypted to ensure its safety.
15.3 The transmission of data via the internet is never completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data that is sent to us electronically. Your transmission of data to us is at your own risk.
15.4 Where data that you have transmitted to us is password protected, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential. You are exclusively responsible for any breaches of your data that results from your own disclosure of or failure to protect your password.

In addition to the foregoing, we use Site and/or Application hosting servers/third-party processors/subcontractors located in Canada, which has received an Adequacy Determination from the European Commission, meaning that the European Commission has determined that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect data once it is transferred to that country.

16. CANADIAN USERS
OneRoof is currently available exclusively to users in the United States and on a limited basis to certain users in British Columbia, Canada. If you are a user located in British Columbia, Canada, you may have additional rights regarding your data under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) and British Columbia’s Personal Information and Privacy Act (“PIPA”). Subject to the exceptions in Part 4, Sections 8(1) and 8(2) of PIPA, if you are a user in British Columbia, OneRoof may collect information and data from you only for the purpose set forth in OneRoof’s Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, and upon request by you as set forth in Part 4, Section 10 of PIPA, we will furnish you with the position, name, or title and contact information of an officer or employee of OneRoof who can answer questions regarding your data. Consistent with PIPEDA, OneRoof may only collect your data for the reasons set forth in OneRoof’s Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy. Users in British Columbia may request their data by contacting us by email at [email protected] with the subject line, “PIPEDA Data Request” from the email address associated with their OneRoof account. OneRoof will respond within thirty (30) days advising as to what data and personal information OneRoof is storing on that user, how that information is used by OneRoof, and what third parties OneRoof has shared any of that information with. If, thereafter, that user identifies inaccuracies in that information and provides OneRoof with evidence of such inaccuracies, OneRoof will take appropriate steps to correct any such inaccuracies if appropriate for the stated uses of such information. For security purposes, we reserve the right to ask for verification of your identity and proof of your residency in British Columbia at the time of your request. 

17. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal data for as long as is needed to conduct our legitimate business purposes, to comply with our legal obligations, or until you ask us to delete your data. For example, we may retain certain personal information indefinitely for the purposes of maintaining your account, unless and until you delete your account. Data that we gather for a specific and particular purpose, such as assisting law enforcement, for compliance with legal obligations including to avoid spoliation of evidence in anticipation of litigation, or for analyzing trends, will be kept for no longer than is necessary for that particular purpose. Data that is no longer needed by us for any purpose will be permanently deleted.  

We will honor your request to delete your data, as described more fully below, unless we are required by law to retain access to the data or have a good faith belief that deletion of such data would violate a potential or actual legal obligation by OneRoof. Please note that we do not and cannot control retention policies of third parties. If you wish to have any third parties, including those to whom we have transmitted your data, delete that data, You will need to contact those third parties directly. You may request from us a list of third parties to whom we have transmitted your data.

We may retain usage data - that is, data that is gathered by us or third-party analytics companies for the purpose of analyzing the use of our Site or Application - as needed for internal analysis purposes. This type of data is usually retained for a shorter period of time than personal data, unless the data is necessary to improve the security or functionality of our Site or Application, or unless we are legally obligated to retain the data for a longer period of time.

18. SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION
We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your personal data and to keep your information secure. We use recognized online secure systems and implement generally accepted standards of security to protect against personal data loss or misuse. No security measure is foolproof, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against interception or misuse. We cannot guarantee complete security of any information you transmit to us.

By consenting to this Privacy Policy, you acknowledge that your personal data may be available, via the internet, around the world. We cannot prevent the use or misuse of your data by other parties.

We will notify you promptly of any known breach of our security systems or improper exposure of your data of which we become aware that might expose you to serious risk.

19. CHILDREN
Neither the Site nor Application is designed for use by children under the age of eighteen, and we do not knowingly solicit personal data from anyone under that age. If you are under eighteen, you may not access or use our Site, Application, Services or related products or services. If you become aware that we have collected data of anyone under the age of eighteen, please contact us so that we may delete that data.

20. SENSITIVE DATA
We request that you do not submit any sensitive data to us, via public postings, email correspondence with us, or any other method, including, without limitation, data such as your social security number, health data, genetic data, or information related to your ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or criminal history. If you do send us this information, then by doing so you are consenting to our use, storage, and processing of this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

YOUR RIGHTS
You have certain rights with respect to your personal data, as outlined herein. Please note that, to the extent permissible under applicable law, we may charge you a reasonable fee for actions that you ask us to take with respect to your data. In addition, we reserve the right to request that you provide us with evidence of your identity before we take any action with respect to the exercise of your data rights. 23. CONFIRM PERSONAL DATA AND ITS USE
You have the right to request that we confirm what data we hold about you, and for what purposes. You also have the right to inquire as to whether we deliver your data to third-party processors and for what purposes. We will supply you with a copy of your personal data upon your request unless doing so would affect the rights and freedoms of others or if doing so would be a violation of OneRoof’s legal obligations.

23.1 Change Consent. You have the right to change your consent to our use of your information. In such case, we may require you to delete your account with OneRoof, as described herein and in our Terms of Service, and you may thereafter cease to have access, in whole or in part, to the Site, Application, or Services.
23.2 Request a Copy of Data. You have the right to request a digital copy of the data that we hold about you. Your first request for a copy of your personal data will be provided free of charge; subsequent requests will incur reasonable fees.
23.3 Transfer Your Data. You have the right to request that we gather and transfer your data to another controller, in a commonly used and machine-readable format. We may transfer your data following such request unless doing so would cause us an undue burden.
23.4 Delete All Data. You have the right to request that we delete all data that we hold about you, and we will comply with such request within a reasonable period. There are exceptions to this right, such as when keeping your data is required by law, is necessary to exercise the right of freedom of expression and information, is required for compliance with a legal obligation, when we have a good faith belief that retention of your data may be necessary in anticipation of litigation including third-party litigation, or when necessary for the exercise or defense of legal claims. Such a request may result in a termination of your account with us and may result in you having limited or no use of, or access to, the Site, Application, or Services.

You may opt out of receiving future email correspondence from us by checking the appropriate box or using the unsubscribe function after you register for the account with OneRoof. You may change your communication settings by navigating to communication preferences or unsubscribe links in our email communications to you.
23.6 Marketing Communications. You may opt out of receiving third-party marketing communications or having your personal information used for marketing purposes by changing your communication settings by navigating to communication preferences or unsubscribe links in marketing communications emails to you.
23.7 Processing. You may, in some circumstances, restrict the processing of your data, such as when you contest the accuracy of your data or when you have objected to certain types of processing, pending the verification of such objections. When processing has been restricted, we will continue to store your data but will not pass it on to restricted third-party processors without your consent except as necessary to comply with legal obligations or to protect your rights or those of others or of our company. You may opt out of any processing of your data altogether, though doing so may result in the termination of your account and loss of access to the Site, Application, or Services.

24. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
The State of California has established its own unique regulations that apply to California residents.

As of its effective date of January 1, 2020 we are compliant with the California Consumer Privacy Act Of 2018, Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1798.100 Et Seq. (CCPA).

Any California resident may request, free of charge, the personal information we have collected or stored about them or about a member of their household. For security purposes, we reserve the right to ask for verification of your identity and proof of your California residency at the time of your request. Any California resident has a right to request the personal data We have collected, or request deletion of the personal data We have collected, including but not limited to:
● Any personally identifying information, such as a real name, alias(es), mailing or residence address, IP address, email address, account name, biometrics, or any other data that could uniquely identify a California resident; and
● Commercial information, including products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, search history, interactions with the Site or Application, or any other purchasing or browsing history of our site and/or offer(s); and
● Site comments made publicly or privately; and
● Geolocation data; and
● Professional or employment-related information; and
● Education information.

We reserve the right to collect any of the above data on California residents and their households.  

We do not plan on selling your data. Regardless, any California resident can email us at [email protected] to explicitly request to opt-out of any such sale of data.

California residents also have the option to request a full deletion of their account and any data we have collected and associated with them.  

We agree to comply with any data request or deletion made pursuant to the CCPA in a reasonable timeframe, during normal business hours, and excluding holidays or our pre-scheduled time off, provided that any such request is not in contravention of any of OneRoof’s other legal obligations.
